Game ReCap #6: The Streak is Over

It was a given that this was going to be a tough match. It was expected that there was going to be lots of scoring. What is most frustrating is losing a match once again leaving points on the bench. Its becoming a habit and its a bad habit. It cost the Blues a tie on opening day, and it cost the club a chance to tie this game. First, the positives. Union S.C. got another goal from Wondolowski and more assists from DeRosario and Kljestan. Donovan Ricketts is a master of his craft and really earned his point in this one. He needed two clean sheets and he got 2 clean sheets. We knew we had to bench Arnaud because of his Red Card and chose to start LeToux instead of White. There was only room for one of them and it was the wrong move. One of the issues with having so much depth is you sometimes choose the wrong players to take the field. This was a tough loss but not a bad loss.
