Game ReCap #10

Another Tie Against the Monarchs

Montgomery County has saved its best two games of 2010 against the Blues. The gameplan going into this one was to out-slug the Monarchs and you'd thing 4 points would be enough against a club averaging below 2 points a game coming into this match. The result was a familiar one. A tie game. Union S.C. will have to wait another day to get that much elluded victory against Montgomery County. If only Cam Weaver hadn't busted into Donovan Ricketts to score a lazy goal. If Ricketts could have gotten another clean sheet the Blues would be celebrating 3 points. That is just how the ball bounces against Union S.C. when they go up against the Monarchs. On a brighter note the Blues go into the World Cup break in 3rd place thanks to a tiebreaker over the C.D. Gunners. There are still 10 games to prepare for, but the club is in a good position.
