Offense Struggles Again, Happy to Salvage Tie

Game ReCap #16
-
The last few games have been a struggle for the offense. It was only because of a last minute assist from Nate Jaqua can Union SC breathe a sigh of relief that at least a point was salvaged in the match against Burud Town. Once again Dwayne DeRosario was blanked. Conor Casey sat out another game even though he was probable for playing time. The list goes on and on. The only player in top form at the current moment is LeToux. Donovan Ricketts wasn't available for this game, but he's been giving up goals like crazy as of late after such a strong start. His replacement Jon Busch could have had a clean sheet, but gave up an own goal this week. For all intensive purposes the club is happy to have gotten a tie. The remainder of the schedule doesn't get any easier, so the Blues will have to get the offense going or the playoffs are in real trouble. As it is Union S.C. has fallen to 5th place in Majors Cup qualifying, now that Gateway United has grabbed the tiebreaker.
