Majors Cup Final Preview

Marco Pappa's brace turned the tide helping Union Southern California defeat MLS side Sporting Kansas City 4-2 in the Semi-Finals of the 2014 Majors Cup. Once again the club needed to come from behind to do it. In every single match the Union have faced a deficit. "This club has heart. It's got a never say die attitude. It had it in the 2nd half of the regular season and its carried over to the post season." said the SoCal owner. This is the furtherest Union SC has advanced in the tournament and must face Rose City to capture the club's 2nd sanctioned trophy. The Flyers have been very successful against the Union historically and this season including winning in the group stage just a few weeks ago. "The Flyers are on a roll. No doubt. But, this lineup can compete with just about anyone." Lineup: Casey, Jaime, Moore, Wondolowski, Mulholland, Edu, Powers, Pappa, Garrido, Romero, Kennedy(GK). Subs: O.Garcia, Mattocks, Rolfe. Reserve: Kaka.
