Draft: Rounds 1 and 2

Union Go Youth Movement
It was a good day in the draft for Union Southern California as the club added youth and talent to its rosters. In the first round, the Southlanders, as club's supporters have now nicknamed Union SC,  drafted Octavio Rivero. The 22 year old just spent 6 months in the Chilean Primera Division where he scored 10 goals in 16 matches. He was voted the best Striker in that league by his peers. "This is the sort of player our club should have as the flagship of the BSL." said the Union's coach. Then in the 2nd round with pick #16, the Union landed Forward- Fernando Aristeguleta. Another 22 year old that is expected to arrive in the United States next week and is seen as a natural center forward with lots of upside. "He's not the fastest player on the field, but he seems to position himself well."
